To the Premaza family and friends. Today I am very saddened by the loss of my brother Ed who passed away last night. He was one of my very best friends and I enjoyed every time we spoke together or e-mailed each other.

Love to all Uncle Bill

Hello everyone! Just wanted to be a part of the dialogue for the Premaza family. Got the idea from my dad, Eddie Premaza. Drop me a note if you want! :-)

just a hello to all the family, and i guess we are all ready for the winter in a little while
I know we are all sorry to learn the loss of brother andy and sister theresa,
Andy, last year and Theresa this year.

i talk to Steve once in a while sometimes by mail and sometimes by phone ,
he said he is doing ok, and also has taken up some religion by joining a church in los angeles, just a small baptist one.

Bob and his family came to boykins a few weeks ago, and we went to vist them at mim's house for a couple hours. we also saw resa's new baby, elizebeth.

Mim and her family are doing well.

signing off for now, hope to hear from the family when you can

love Eddie

Andy Premaza:
Okay, now I think I've got it straight. :)

I only knew of Joan's daughters from her first marriage (to Richard Pell). I did not know of any children from James Sr's first marriage. :(

Hi my name is michelle premaza ... my mom is debbie premaza the daughter of James Premaza Sr... i never know anyone from this side of my family other then my 2 uncles James Premaza Jr and Micheal j Premaza ( 3-16-59 to 7-7-04 ).... i would really like to get in touch with anyone from this side of my family... if any gets a chance please leave me an e-mail.... thank you :-)

Andy Premaza:
Hi Michelle,

There seems to be a mystery, as I cannot find your line. Are you from the Thomas (born 1901) tree? (I have several blanks on that side) The only James brother I know of is my father's brother, and married to Joan.

I am from Thomas' brother, Joseph (married to Helen Lakatosh) line -- Joseph is my grandfather -- there was also a brother Steven, who never married.

How did you find the website?

-- Andy

Life has its surprising moments.
A chance meeting at a doctor's office in Ashland, Virginia with Sandra Premaza Heins has again rekindled an old family memory.
I am the eldest of Dorothy M. Magyar nee Premaza and Michael C. Magyar.
Mom was the daughter of Anna & Thomas Premaza.
To open the floodgates of conversation, I will be brief.
We lived at 4554 N. Gratz Street while I was a child. We lived with Uncle Steve Premaza, prior to our move to 5217 Knox Street in Germantown.
I attended St. Francis of Assisi from 1946 until 1953 prior to our move to the "burb"s in Fort Washington, PA.
I do remember Aunt Helen and Uncle Joe.
I am more familiar with George, Steve and Bobbie since they were approximately the same age as I and my brothers.

Re: Family Tree. Correct my previous information. Panel 9 is not blank only 3, 6 and 12 are blank. Sorry in particular to my wife Carmen because it added the names of her 3 daughters.

Just printed out the 15 page family tree. Good job Andy and it was nice to find out pages 3,6,9 and 12 were blank pages. In addition page 12 is blank except to complete two blocks at the bottom of page 8. Expected printing on 15 page made me think the family tree had really expanded since the last publication.

Re Msg 32 from Tracey (HRACHO) Bennish in Satellite Beach Florida. I live across the river from Satellite Beach and she is or was a close neighbor. Tried to contact Tracey under the name Bennish obviously the picture in her message was at a wedding. No listing for a Bennish in the phone book but on a hunch checked HRACHO and she was listed with an address confirming she lived in Satellite Beach. Called the number and left a message but the call was not returned. Tried again last week and the phone was out of service. Decided to send a letter which as of this date has not been returned as undelivered so it seems Tracey may not want to be contacted after all. If anyone has a contact with her family maybe they might be able to provide some insight.

This is Mother's day weekend and wish to extend Carmen and my greetings to all of the mothers in our family. It was great to be a part of Ed's 75th birthday and to enjoy spending so much time with all of the family members that were there. We do have a wonderful, happy family despite the strange relationships that exist. A good day occurs when an event such as an out of the air call from Steve occurs. He stays in touch, in his way. For information he is still working at the West Los Angeles VA hospital but does not have an 3-mail address. Love to all

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to tell you , that I really enjoyed the surprise party for me on march 12, here in Richmond.
It was a surprise, and i did not know anything until I walked into the party at the recreation center. Of course, hindsight told me that a couple things happened earlier, that I should have questioned. I was told on several occasions I almost found out, but they did keep it secret.
Thanks to Althea, Janet, Donna Lynn, sandra, and Joyce for what they did in preparation, prior to the party, and all the others that helped
Thanks to all the family that came from near and very far to attend.
And thanks to old and new friends who were there
I was not able to keep the tears of joy hidden very long, as I guess most of you saw.
again , thanks for a party i will never forget
i hope everyone saw some of the pictures, and if not , please contact me
and I will forward some

Thanks Janet. I couldn't have made it without the help of everyone here!

As for Aunt Theresa and Delores, they are both living in PA -- not that far from my parents, actually. I used to talk to Aunt Theresa's daughter Terri when I lived there -- her entries are in here below. As for Aunt Delores, our families were close when we were growing up -- mom and her would play bingo, in a bowling league together, and our parents would play pinochle together. We will still see them occasionally, though, but less often than before.

Hello,
This is a great way to contact family. I am Eddie's oldest daughter, Janet. This weekend we had a 75th surprise b-day party. What fun it was. More special was the fact that I got to see relatives I had not seen in years and even meet new ones. I love meeting new relatives. With a family this big, it's hard to meet them all. Does anyone ever hear from Delores and Theresa Premaza?
